Guocong Song

Guocong joined Playground in 2015 and is responsible for collaborating with the technical team, supporting and advising portfolio companies with advanced AI technologies.

Prior to Playground, Guocong worked at Motorola, Applovin, focusing on wireless networking and machine learning for real-time advertising bidding.

Guocong graduated from Georgia Tech with a PhD in ECE. He received Stephen O. Rice Prize Paper Award from IEEE, and Grandmaster Tier from Kaggle. 

Outside of work, Guocong enjoys reading, and trying new open-source software.
