Justin Ernest

Justin joined Playground in 2019 and has supported companies across a number of areas including logistics, aerospace, decarbonization, and automation. He also leads the MBA summer intern program at Playground.

A native of Atlanta, Justin started his career managing equity and debt portfolios at The Coca-Cola Company and subsequently held investment roles at a variety of venture capital and private equity firms, including NextGen Venture Partners, TechOperators, Sidewalk Infrastructure Partners, and Advent International.

Justin graduated from the University of Georgia and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.

When he is not meeting founders and supporting our portfolio companies, Justin enjoys golfing, skiing, and cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs with friends & family.
