Vilma Roa

Vilma Roa has been a part of Playground since 2017, overseeing the smooth running of the firm’s daily operations. Her role encompasses greeting and welcoming guests, coordinating new hire orientation and offboarding, as well as handling monthly expense reports and purchase orders. 

Prior to joining Playground, Vilma gained experience in the tech industry, working as a receptionist at both LinkedIn and Google. She also served as an Accounting Associate in the Office of Sponsored Research at Stanford University.

Vilma graduated from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo with a BS in Graphic Communication.

In her free time, Vilma enjoys Polynesian dancing with her Hula Halau O Nalua-Otea Api dance troupe, martial arts, and spending time with family.
